2015+ WRX – Full 3 inch J pipe / Front pipe / Downpipe Catless Track version. This is one of the nicest pipes made for the 2015 WRX. This pipe connects to the Hotside of the Turbo ,when you remove the stock Cat, you allow the exhaust to escape without a bottle neck the turbo spools faster and enables you to make much more horsepower. This should be one of the first mods for this car.

BOOST CREEP MYTHS – DONT DRINK THE COOL-AID
Lets start by saying this. If your car can not handle a Catless downpipe, then maybe look for a different car. Thankfully this is not the case, although many tuners and rumors make it sound true. You want a Catless pipe if you are in a position to use one. It spools crazy fast, flows freely. This is also the same reason the boost creep happens (rare on FA20) . Yes Boost creep is a mechanical issue from the wastegate being fully open and not able to handle the exhaust flow. But this is also a Tuner and Boost control issue in the first place. Dont overboost your car and it will not overwhelm the wastegate. Basically first dont rely on the cars boost control system, they are to slow to react and can lead to overboosting. Buy a EBC electronic boost controller like the grimmspeed. I would recommend that on any Turbo getting tuned. If the boost does not spike or is not set to high by the tuner the exhaust levels wont exceed the wastegate efficiency, this is why tuners should insist on a real EBC and not set the boost too high. Tuning shops never liked to admit error, ever, so why start now.
